Today, Equal Vision Records has launched a vinyl pre-order for Lusitania, the sophomore album from acclaimed American indie/emo band Fairweather. Originally released on July 1, 2003 and being pressed for the very first time by Equal Vision, Lusitania is being offered on blue vinyl with green and white splatter (250 units) and blue, green and white swirl (250 units). These new variants are now available for pre-order through the Equal Vision Records Store HERE.
After touring consistently through the fall and winter of 2002 and 2003 with The Movielife, Piebald, Brand New and Codeseven, Fairweather prepared to record what would turn out to be its most vital album yet, Lusitania. Returning to the studio again with the iconic J. Robbins, the record proved to be Fairweather's most cohesive and sophisticated work to date — an hour-long journey filled with tension, hope and the human condition that is as captivating as it is beautiful.
Fairweather will be making the following appearance to celebrate the vinyl release of Lusitania. Details below.
