August 11, 2020 – Florida – At a time when many are “over it,” Florida-based alternative rock band Never Loved is attempting to shake things up with their new single and music video “Over It.” The song, co-written by Nick Wheeler (All-American Rejects) and produced by Matt Squire, is premiering now on FLOOD Magazine.
“I noticed there are waves of good days and bad days in life. I wrote ‘Over It’ when I was going through a wave of bad days,” shares frontman Camm Knopp. “I was constantly overthinking and letting myself get the best of me. It was difficult to fall asleep most nights and each morning was riddled with the same mixed emotions of frustration and dejection.“
He continues: “Out of the blue, a melody came to mind which led me to write ‘Over It.’ This song will always be a reminder to me that no matter what I’m going through, I have the strength to get through it. I think we all have that ability deep down.”
Hailing from the sunny shores of South Florida comes the alt-rock quartet, Never Loved. With captivating choruses & loud, gritty guitars, this four piece powerhouse is guaranteed to spark your inner adolescence.
In 2018 Never Loved signed with Equal Vision Records. The announcement came alongside the premiere of the band’s first ever single, “Dead Inside,” via Billboard. Since then, they were also named one of Billboard’s “Artists to Watch: 17 Alternative & Indie Breakouts For 2019,” in addition to being featured on Alternative Press, Hot Topic, Substream Magazine, and more.
Never Loved’s debut EP Never Loved, , produced by multi-platinum producer, Matt Squire, is out now and can be purchased at neverloved.lnk.to/ep. They followed it up last summer with “Where Do I Go From Here?” and latest single, “Down.”
