Mongrel 20th anniversary tour with special guests Kaonashi, Blind Equation and Differences

A progressive metalcore band from New Jersey, The Number Twelve Looks Like You has carved a niche in the heavy music scene with their eclectic blend of mathcore, grindcore, and experimental elements. Formed in 2001, the group quickly earned a reputation for their chaotic live performances and intricate compositions, drawing influences from jazz, classical, and avant-garde music. After a hiatus beginning in 2010, they made a triumphant return in 2016, reuniting their fervent fanbase and releasing the critically acclaimed album, Wild Gods, in 2019. Known for their genre-defying sound and relentless innovation, The Number Twelve Looks Like You continues to push the boundaries of heavy music, captivating audiences with their technical prowess and unpredictable songwriting.

Despite the challenges, Jesse Korman (vocals) and Alexis Pareja (guitars) have continued with The Number Twelve Looks Like You for over two decades while navigating adulthood. The release of Wild Gods was followed by the onset of a global pandemic and making touring difficult. This period of reflection, combined with feeling musically stagnant, led them to ponder their futures and what mattered most. They realized the need to create new music that demonstrated true progression, mirroring their personal growth and changes. Stay tuned for new music from The Number Twelve Looks Like You being released in 2026 and beyond.
